Dog Carriers

Is your pooch on the go? Does he have his own frequent flyer card? If you answered yes to these questions you probably already own one or more dog carriers. These handy containers give your dog a breathable environment while keeping him contained in public places. For most times, a carrier really shouldn’t be necessary, but in places like airports a dog carrier isn’t just necessary, it’s mandated.

So if you plan on flying with your pup you should invest in comfortable dog carriers to make the trip more pleasant for rover. A good carrier will be half again the length of the dog, and half as wide as the dog is long. This will allow the dog room to stretch and turn around while in the carrier.

If your dog has trouble with traveling, such as becoming agitated and jumping around and/or barking a lot, you may want to ease the process by outfitting his dog carriers with items from home. A favorite bed (if it fits in) is idea. If that doesn’t work, some toys or a food dish will help remind your dog that the environment isn’t completely alien.
