Dog Treats

Dog treats are a great way to show your dog you love them. Studies have shown that most breeds of dog are physically incapable of not thinking about food if it is in front of them. This hardwired stomach dominant attitude makes the quickest way into a dog’s heart through their stomach. Dogs think that just about anything people eat would be the greatest thing in the world for them.

That’s why there are dog treats that are bacon flavored. I mean really, where would a dog get the concept of bacon from if not for humans? Of course, if you want your dog to eat something a little more natural for a canine you can get treats in flavors like liver, beef, or chicken. One treat most dogs love is the rawhide treat. Not only do they love it, but while they chew it, the treat is actually helping their oral hygiene. Just don’t tell them, they might be offended.

Of course, for some dogs bacon just isn’t a human enough treat, they want their dog treats to be over the top. For canines with extremely discerning tastes, there are doggie delicatessens that can make delightful creations that look good enough for the owner to try. These shops can be found in many major cities, and they seem to be doing alright for themselves, despite the recession. That goes to show that nothing is quite like the bond between owner and pet.
